Glass Recycling Pick Up Schedule

Glass Recycling Pick Up Schedule

Glass Recycling Pick Up Schedule

High School volunteers will pick up glass to be recycled on the following dates. Please make sure you get your glasses are out before and clearly seen by the road.

You are also welcome to leave your glass directly in front of the ManorGate clubhouse sidewalk  (NOT directly on Green Trails Blvd.):

How to get ready for pick up:

  • [They] are student volunteers, not professionals. [They] will do [their] very best to get all of the glass on the day of pickup. If [they] make a mistake, please don't be mean and let us know what [they] missed by commenting on our Facebooks.
  • When it is your week, please place your glass in plastic/paper bags at curbside. Please make it obvious for us to see. Try to not use baskets/containers that you would want back. This will be more of a hassle for the volunteers to drive back around and deliver/give back to the owners.
  • Don't overfill the bags! About 25 pounds or so is reasonable. We don't mind picking up more than one bag, but please don't make them too heavy.
  • Townhouses: put the bags where you would place the trash cans.
  • No broken glass please!
  • Please make sure the bottles are empty!
